Job Description

We are looking for an energetic and passionate Accountant with management experience to join our close-knit Accounting team.This is YOU to a ‘T’:

The Role day today:
  • Overall management of all client accounting functions including supervision, training, and development of accounting staff
  • Oversee operations of the accounting department including measurement, evaluation, and implementation of policies and procedures – striving always to improve efficiency through Relentless Incrementalism
  • Ensure critical internal and external deadlines are met, perform assigned tasks and job duties in a timely and efficient manner, and oversee all others
  • Familiar with applicable regulatory bodies and rules, confidently operating in compliance with all relevant regulations
  • Lead the Accounting team in providing superior service to our clients and team

The Details:Experience & Qualifications:
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a CPA (Certified Professional Accountant) designation, however, this is not a requirement for this position as a candidates leadership experience will be considered in lieu.
  • Must have previous management and supervisory experience
  • Passion for leading people
  • A proven ability to build efficient systems and processes
Position Details:
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • Salary range of $78,000-$85,000 based on the candidates experience and qualifications
  • An active member of our Operations Team
  • Opportunity for travel between our four offices (Victoria, Langford, Nanaimo & Courtenay)
