More information can be found here.Provide project administration support services for complex projects in this career building roleThis position resides in the Engagement Advisory and Coordination Unit in the Strategic Services Branch within the Ministry of Children and Family Development Deputy Ministers Office.Reporting to the Senior Manager, Engagement, the Project Coordinator works as a member of a small team to support the development and coordination of and track engagement activities as well as support timely accurate communication about engagement. The Project Coordinator is focused, and results oriented and provides technical project management functions to support coordination of engagement activities across the ministry.This challenging, high-profile role requires an individual with strong technical, people and coordination skills and a project and change management understanding. You are an enthusiastic, flexible professional with the capacity to function effectively in a fast-paced work environment with competing priorities.   • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in communications, business administration, humanities, social sciences, public administration, change management, or another related field. An equivalent combination of education and experienced may be considered.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications Word, Visio, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Experience working effectively with internal and external partners.
Preference may be given to candidates with the following:
  • Experience in the Social Services sector.
  • Experience in project management and/or event planning.
