Job Description

Macs Heating- Apprentice Gasfitter/ PlumberWe are looking for an Apprentice Gasfitter/ Plumber, who is seeking a full-time position. First year apprentices will also be considered. Applicants Requirements:
  • 2 Years previous work experience in an field/ industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • Tool experience is an asset but not a requirement
  • Trades math is an asset but not a requirement
  • Works well with a team and clients
  • Valid BC Driver’s License and drivers abstract
Duties include but not limited to: Under the direction of the Journeyman Plumber you will assist in daily duties which will include:
  • Pulling water lines
  • Thread pipe
  • Installation of water and heating systems
  • Move/ haul material
  • Assist with any other tasks required
Mac’s Heating primarily serves the needs of property managers, industrial and process customers. We have installed everything from gas water heaters to a complete gas-fired glass blowing studios.Here is an example of the type of customer that use our Heating and Mechanical services:
  • Apartment buildings
  • Condominiums
  • Commercial Buildings
  • Industrial and Institutional facilities

  • Laundries
  • Care Homes

  • Hotels
  • Wineries
  • Auto body shops
  • Greenhouses
