Job Description

The Marriott Victoria Inner Harbour Hotel is a full service property overlooking Victorias historic and charming downtown, located just steps from world class attractions, venues and dining. Boasting 236 elegantly appointed rooms and suites coupled with 5,000 square feet of functional meeting space, The Marriott Victoria is consistently ranked the number one full service Marriott in Canada for overall guest satisfaction.We are currently recruiting for the position of fulltime At Your Service (AYS) Associate. This position involves a variety of duties including but not limited to:

  • Being the single point of contact for all guest service inquiries and requests.
  • Ensuring all services are provided in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner.
  • Providing assistance for all internal and external calls.
  • Being an integral part of the Hotel emergency response team.
  • Completing a daily checklist of tasks.
  • Responding to all guest problems and concerns.
  • Contributing to the team work atmosphere within the hotel and to the ongoing improvement in delivery of quality service at the Front Desk, At Your Service and Concierge Departments.
Job Requirements:
  • Previous hotel experience in a similar position is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated computer skills.
  • Must be neat in appearance.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of Victoria/Vancouver and surrounding areas.
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work a range of hours including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be an effective listener.
