If working for a progressive organisation, with a continuing commitment to diversity and inclusion is important, you should apply.Shape your world and achieve togetherThis is a newly created role where you’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of the Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and the Continuous Service Improvement (CSI) programs of work as well as ensuring both meet Fujitsu required qualify and performance standards.Key accountabilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Contribute to effective performance monitoring of business processes, services, and related performance issues. Assist with the development of service improvement plans to enhance the quality of company performance.
  • Participate in projects that focus on Service Improvements, Quality Management, and Service Continuity.
  • Champion the effective use of Service Improvement frameworks and methods using ITIL, ISO:9001, ISO:20000, and ISO:14001
  • Proactively contribute to service improvement programs and initiatives to operational framework and function by identifying and suggesting ideas or opportunities to improve processes and work practices that drive operational efficiencies.
  • Contribute to team effectiveness by offering value, adding suggestions at meetings, providing learning feedback/comments and support to others that aim to improve team performance and staff motivation, and assisting other members of the team
  • Ensure BCP management policies, processes, and procedures are up-to-date and adhere to FANZ Document Management System and ISO standards.
  • Contribute to the exercise and maintenance of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) for Fujitsu New Zealand and Business Operations Delivery Units
  • Assist in the exercising of all BCP plans across FANZ to meet BC Policy requirements
  • Monitor the updating of all BCP plans across FANZ to meet BC Policy requirements
  • Contribute to required reporting to BC Steering Committee
  • Contribute to improvements to the Business Continuity framework consulting with stakeholders as required.
  • Support the development and maintenance of standard responses to Requests for Information about Fujitsu’s BC framework.
  • Contribute to reporting about the effectiveness of the Business Continuity Programme.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Ideally experience of BCP and CSI in your current role with Fujitsu
  • Strong understanding of controls and control assessment techniques
  • Previous risk experience in the IT industry is preferred, but is not mandatory
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data analytics and interpretation
  • GRC system experience is preferred, but is not mandatory
  • Well organised, flexible and adaptable. Able to work to deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage and influence internal and external stakeholders and relationship management skills, with evidence of working effectively and collaboratively within a team
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills, with emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes through consultation, collaboration, and conciliation
Fujitsu complies with government legislation in various jurisdictions which in certain circumstances may impose a requirement that certain workers be vaccinated against COVID-19 (or otherwise have a valid exemption). Also, for client facing roles, many of our customers require our staff to be vaccinated to attend their workplaces. Based on Fujitsu’s assessment of workplace risk and the safety and wellbeing of our people and consultation with our staff, Fujitsu has introduced a Vaccination Requirements policy which requires all persons entering a Fujitsu workplace, attending a Fujitsu work-related event, or entering other premises to undertake work on Fujitsu’s behalf to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or the subject of an appropriate exemption (and to provide evidence of the same). Consequently as a result of Fujitsu’s policy, and, where applicable , customer and legislated vaccination requirements, Fujitsu requires all new employees to be fully vaccinated or have an authorised exemption approved by Fujitsu’s Crisis management Team (CMT).
