We have been in the industry for 4 years with various customers across Victoria, the capital regional district, and beyond. We are seeking carpenters/handymen/handy women to join our company.Wage: $30-40/hr based on experience and benefits after the prohibition period.We give room to advance to our hardworking and dedicated employees.Responsibilities:>>> Act as a team player who works well with others, reviewss and follows witten and verbal directions well, and processes good communication skills and willingness to learn.>>> Work with collagues and contractors with great workmanship to achieve highest standard and quality through projects>>> Ensure health and safety regulations are followed>> Demonstrate ability to use initiative to determine, judge, and select appropriate course of action.>> Read blueprints and drawings. Work with project managers and architects in resolution of design issues, change requests, material requirements, and cost optimizations.The requirements we are expecting from you:>>> Proven experience as a carpenter and/or skilled laborer with 1-2 years of relevant experience.>>> Journeyman carpenter certification is a great asset>>> Positive attitude, highly dependable, with excellent attendance and punctuality.>>> Ability to work both independently and as part of a team>>> Usual work schedule is 8 hour shifts from Monday to Friday. Ability to work occasional weekends.>>> Good physical condition, endurance, reliable attendance, and ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.>>> Reliable transportation with a valid driving license, smartphone, and must provide own tools.>>> Must be based on close proximity to Langford, Victoria, or Vancouver Island (or willing to move).We expect you to start immediately as we are growing fast.
