As a department, the Voice Faculty members are a close-knit community and form an integral part of the VCM’s greater faculty community of 130+ members.We are currently seeking voice instructors with experience teaching in a studio setting using appropriate Classical voice methodologies and technique, and working with students with interests in Classical and/or non-Classical/Commercial musical genres. Positions are available for both seasoned professionals and recent graduates.Terms of Employment: Part time, individual studio instruction as independent contractorCompensation: variable, according to posted VCM tuition rates and respective instructor pay ratesAnticipated start date: Immediately or latest September 1 2022Location: Victoria Conservatory of Music – openings available for both Downtown Victoria and Westhills-Langford locationsMinimum RequirementsEducation:Two – four years of study at a postsecondary/advanced level, including having obtained a BMus, DipMus, ARCT, AVCM, or equivalent credential.
