MyEducation BC, the provincial student information system, is used by all public-school districts and most independent and private schools as the single repository of student information and source of funding for students across the province. The contract and governance structures for MyEducation BC are both complex and require high levels of engagement and oversight. Share Ed BC is a platform for educators and serves as a repository for lessons and teaching materials, professional development materials and a collaborative space. Share Ed BC requires ongoing and intensive stakeholder engagement and communications, development of materials and project support.This position is to lead the client engagement, outreach, governance structures, product development and marketing of both MyEducation BC and Share Ed BC.   • Related degree, preferably in Communications, Business, or Public Administration with a focus on communications and marketing or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing multi-channel, client-focused communication and design projects.
  • Preference given to those with experience in K to 12 education system and an understanding of instructional design.
  • Experience with Agile project management methodology.
  • Experience in creating and supporting complex governance structures.
  • Experience establishing collaborative relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience leading and coaching multi-disciplinary senior level professionals and/or managers in the development of complex communications.
  • Experience in business communications planning and change management.
  • Experience in directing the work of other communications professionals, professional employees and/or external contractors.
