This mandate is carried out by over 150 employees in Victoria and Vancouver, working across six unique sections: Asset Compliance, Fuel & Carbon Tax, Policy, Rulings, & Services, Refunds, Registration & Closures, and Tobacco Tax.This position provides user support for the Ministry’s on-line file and pay system, over the phone and in writing. The eTaxBC Support and Compliance Analyst provides technical support to over 40 program areas and determines vendor/operator eligibility for tax exemptions. The position accepts/refuses reviews, analyses and processes registration applications; and legal entity validations; investigates and resolves complex administrative tax issues.The eTaxBC Support and Compliance Analyst eTaxBC Support and Compliance Analysts operate in a complex, time sensitive, high volume environment, responding to phone calls, faxes and correspondence and often dealing with hostile, confused and/or upset individuals.
