It is also responsible for strategic initiatives, research, engagement, legislation, litigation, program development, and policy and procedures that support systemic change.The Strategic Initiatives Branch is responsible for the development of strategic, complex, large-scale, cross-divisional and government projects, including improving supports for youth and young adults transitioning from government care, and prevention and family supports.
