More information can be found here.A great opportunity to advance your administrative careerReporting to the Director, the Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing records management (e.g. ARCS/ORCS) advice and support, in consultation with the Ministry Records Officer (MRO), to the Division, and providing administrative and other support services to the Manager and the Branch.Pharmaceutical, Laboratory & Blood Services Division comprises of five branches: (1) Clinical Services & Evaluation, responsible for patient specific drug coverage requests, drug optimization initiatives to improve patient outcomes, performance measures, and national pharmaceutical strategies. (2) Integrated Health Services Planning & Systems, responsible to coordinate and improve the integration of health services planning and systems (i.e. PharmaNet) across the Ministry, with PHSA, Regional Health Authorities and key stakeholders. (3) Pharmaceutical Policy, Legislation & Engagement, responsible for guiding the development, evaluation and research of pharmaceutical policies that support equitable and sustainable patient access to effective drug therapy. (4) Therapeutic Assessment and Access, responsible for managing the PharmaCare formulary, responsible for leading specialized drug programs and contractual relations possible for the services and products available.   • Secondary school graduation or equivalent (GED).
  • 1 or more years’ experience working in an office setting.
  • 1 or more years’ experience using Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience in records management.
  • Project experience with terms and methodologies.
Preference may be given to applicants with any of the following:
  • Experience managing an electronic calendar (booking meetings and appointments).
  • Pharmaceutical sector / settings experience.
  • Experience using SharePoint.
  • Certificate in (office) administration or related.
  • Previous government experience.
