Job Description

Fitness Experience Victoria — Delivery & Installations LeadWere looking for a full-time addition to our team of fitness equipment experts! Our Delivery & Installation staff primarily transport equipment from Fitness Experience locations to a clients home and/or business, and may also provide assembly to manufacturer specifications. Projects range in size from singular consumer items to outfitting membership-based commercial facilities. We primarily operate within the Southern Vancouver Island area, however we occasionally complete projects in the Lower Mainland and Okanagan.Description Summary

  • Safe transport of fitness equipment via Light-Duty Box Truck from Fitness Experience locations to designated addresses, including loading/unloading
  • Assembly of fitness equipment to manufacturer specifications
  • Safe transport of fitness equipment between Fitness Experience locations, including loading/unloading
  • Unloading and unpacking incoming inventory shipments
  • Basic inventory management through provided systems
  • Effective communication with clients
Minimum Qualifications
  • Driving Ability — Valid drivers licence and ability to operate a Light-Duty Box Truck (Ford E450 w/ 18 Box & Hydraulic Lift Gate).
  • Physically Fit — Capable of lifting and moving heavy objects on a regular basis.
  • Education — Minimum Secondary School
  • Communication — Must be able to effectively communicate with clients in-person and over the phone.
Additional Qualifications
  • Forklift Experience — Ability to operate both seated propane forklift and/or standing electric forklift.
  • Relevant Experience — Experience within the fitness industry, appliance technician/installations, delivery & transport, warehouse shipping or receiving.
  • Fitness Knowledge — Personal experience in health & fitness and utilizing applicable equipment.
Information
  • Position starts at $22-24/Hour (based on relevant experience).
  • 10:00AM-6:00PM w/ Paid Lunch Break (40 Hours/Week)
  • Job Training Provided
  • Two Weeks Annual Paid Vacation
  • Benefits Package Available After 3 Months
  • Occasional Optional Overtime
