Job Description

This is a newly created position for a Dermatologist to work with the Oncologists at BC Cancer Agency (BCCA) to set up Dermatology services at the Victoria Cancer Agency. They will also work with the University of British Columbia to teach medical students and residents.There will be opportunities for the candidate to join a local private practice for 1 -2 days a week.The duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Organize and run Melanoma New Patient Clinics.
  • Organize and run Dysplastic Nevus Clinics.
  • Organize and run Clinic for Complicated non-melanoma skin cancers.
  • Organize and run Cutaneous T Cell Lymphoma Clinic.
  • Work with Medical Oncologists to see follow-up high risk melanoma patients.
  • Assess all Oncology consultations for patients at BCCA with Dermatology needs.
  • Attend monthly Dermatology Rounds with dermatologists and dermatopathologists.
  • Teach Medical Students and Residents.
