K9HQ Doggy Daycare is looking for a motivated, outgoing person to be our next Dog Daycare Attendant!If you are a hard working, reliable individual who can work well independently as well as with a team who is not afraid to work hard and get your hands dirty, this could be the place for you!Position available is permanent part time to start, but could turn into full time for the right candidate. Shifts are Monday to Friday with a possibility of some Saturdays. Competitive starting wage. There is opportunity for advancement with the right motivated candidate.This job is a lot more than cuddling with dogs, it is a fast paced environment with LOTS of cleaning and requires a reasonable level of physical fitness. The right candidate will be a reliable, motivated hard worker with a strong ability to multitask. Training is provided but a basic understanding of canine behaviour & breed types is expected. Customer service skills are extremely important. Experience working with dogs or in the pet care industry is an asset.We are a busy indoor doggy daycare and Dog Daycare Attendants are responsible for supervising play groups in calm, confident & positive manner. Cleaning is constant - must be okay dealing with pee, poo, vomit, as well as thorough daily washing and disinfecting of the entire facility.
