.2School Psychologist (flexible day)Reporting to the District Principal of Inclusive Education the School Psychologist provides assessment and planning services for students of school age who have been identified as having significant learning concerns. The Psychologist makes recommendations to the District Principal regarding student eligibility for specific BC Ministry of Education categories. Candidates must hold a valid BC Driver’s License and vehicle as travel throughout the district is requiredPreferred Qualifications:Minimum requirement of a Master’s Degree in School Psychology or related field, with a focus on School Psychology, including graduate training and recent experience with administration, scoring and interpretation of individual psychological assessments.Eligible for membership with the BC Association of School Psychologists or registration with the College of Psychologists of British ColumbiaDemonstrated ability to provide in-service on assessment as well as strategies and interventions in line with the principles of Inclusive EducationDemonstrated ability to provide consultation with parents, teachers and School Based Teams regarding student strengths and needs, educational implications and related strategies in line with RTI and Universal Design for Learning frameworks.Knowledge of the BC Ministry of Education Special Education Policies and ProceduresQuick Apply
