The BCFMA is responsible for supporting BC families by providing a free service to track and collect child and spousal support. We also provide comprehensive training in a positive learning environment.Whether you have 6 months or over 6 years of client service experience; you know how to calmly and professionally handle complaints, interpret and apply policy.In our world, no day is ever the same, but you can expect a typical day to include some combination of the following:

  • As the first point of contact, the Enquiry Representative responds accurately to a wide range of enquiries while meeting our client service standards, in a fast-paced high volume environment
  • Listening effectively to clients, while asking probing questions to gain a better understanding of our client’s needs.
  • Composing replies to email, phone and mail inquiries; prepare tracking forms; forwarding complaints to the appropriate person for more detailed response.
  • May interact with other organizations outside of BCFMA, while ensuring client related information remains confidential.
*What education and experience will you need to be successful*
  • A high school diploma is required; post-secondary education would be considered an asset.
  • Strong MS Office skills and proficient keyboarding and data entry skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, utilizing effective conflict resolution skills and building rapport with others.
