In this role you will be working with a variety of flooring materials on large and small commercial projects. Liesch offers the opportunity for installers to attend product installation certification classes offered by suppliers for those looking to excel in the commercial flooring trade.The job duties and responsibilities are not limited to the following: - Job site preparation and liaising with job site foreman- Project demolition and clean up of tools and other items- Abilities to read blue prints and projects specifications and plan accordingly- Organizing job tasks and assigning duties to labourers- Confirming job work orders with Liesch project managers- Confirming all supplies have been received and ready for job- Organizing job supplies and product deliveryCandidate Requirements:- Possess a minimum of 2-4 years of experience of commercial flooring experience with vinyl plank, carpet tile, resilient flooring- Possess a current and valid driver’s licence- Ability to prep job and product layout for efficient job completion- Experienced installing millwork rubber base and vinyl base- Skilled in leveling concrete and plywood sub-floors- Ability to patch and repair all subfloor types- Flash cove and heat welding experience is an asset- Efficient problem-solving abilities- A keen eye for detail and a desire to get the job done right the first time- Excellent communication skills with project managers, site lead and other trades- High motivation to meet project requirements and deadline- All candidates will be required to pass a criminal background check.Our Reward Program
