Job Description

Coastal Roots Health is a multidisciplinary health centre that prides itself in offering quality holistic health care within a friendly clinic environment. Our goal is to continue offering our research-based health services while efficiently becoming the most effective and sought after health centre in Victoria and Sooke. A successful candidate will be able to seamlessly manage the schedules of multiple practitioners while staying on top of inventory, patient recalls, and accounts receivable.JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Answer telephone calls, greet patients and provide excellent customer service
  • Tracking and ordering of inventory
  • Ordering clinic/ office supplies
  • Patient scheduling/billing and claims
  • Billing: extended health insurance/ICBC/WSBC/MSP/Lawyer
  • Collecting payment and follow up on outstanding account receivable
  • Produce accurate end of day reports
  • Tracking and completing patient recalls
  • Interview and train administrative staff as needed
  • Communicate with patients regarding inquiries and concerns
  • Social media management, postings and curator (Hootsuite - Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)
  • Participate in management meetings
  • Accounts payable to practitioners
  • End of day and week reconciliation
