Best Western Plus Carlton Plaza Hotel is seeking fun, high-energy, friendly candidates for Guest Services Agent position. Candidates with no experience are welcome and great for part-time work for students!Wage increase to $23.00 after 3 month probation.Qualifications and requirements:
  • Candidates must posses BC Class 5 Drivers License
  • Flexible availability. Schedule is negotiable but candidates should be expecting to work mostly evenings and weekends
  • Work well with others as well as independently in multi-cultual setting
  • Professional and positive attitude with smiles and a sense of responsibility
  • Enjoy customer service
  • Speak English fluently to effectively communicate with guests and colleagues
  • Great problem solving skill in fast-pace environment
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • General office tasks including answering phone calls and responding emails professionally
  • Resolve issues and concerns to creatively meet guests needs.
  • Handle general questions and requests including concierge tasks
  • Greet warmly at the front desk to provide welcoming and caring environment to guests
  • Assist bell staff including parking and retrieving vehicles, and helping with luggage
