Shifts include Tues - Sat AM and PM shiftsPosition Description: -General Administration, Organization and Operation Systems Management-Online, Telephone and In-Person Customer Service-Friendly First Face and Voice of the company-Online and Telephone Patient Bookings-Practitioner Scheduling and Schedule Management-Practitioner Practice Management-Patient Experience Management-Payment Processing Re: Point of Sale, Direct Insurance, Third Party Billing etc-Assist with Supplies and Inventory Management-Assist with Retail and Orthopedic Products-Inter-Office Communication with Referral Sources, Suppliers, Insurers etc-Answer multi-line phone system and take appointments or direct calls to the appropriate party-Greet patients when they arrive at the office and provide them with any necessary paperwork or other information-Collect co-pays and other fees required prior to the office visit or treatment-Direct patients to the lab area for scheduled blood work and other testing-Verify insurance coverage and assist the billing department with processing claims-Schedule appointments and confirm appointments two days in advance-Assist patients with re-scheduling appointments and other scheduling issues-Communicate test results to patients when directed by physicians or nursing professionals-Inform patients of credit card declines and other billing issuesNecessary Skills and AttributesEssential: High School Diploma/GED 12Tertiary QualificationsAccountabilityRelevant clinical and/or customer service experienceExcellent problem solving skillsTime Management SkillsAbility to relate to people at all levels throughout the companyNot afraid to talk to peopleHonest, ethical with high performance standardsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA self-starter Ability to work well in a team or independentlyAttention to detailDevelop and maintain enhancing relationships with customer and coworkersAbove average computer skillsAbove the Line Attitude and Belief SystemsEnjoy learning new systems and innovationsAttention to detailPleasantOptimisticDesirable: Medical Office Assistant Diploma programExperience in a similar roleExperience working with similar customersExperience using Clinic Billing/Scheduling Software (Clinic Master/ Osler or other)Prefer being busy, have the day go fast and feeling accomplished and fulfilled at the end of the dayThrive in a dynamic fast paced environment with a team that strives for high quality standards and is rewarded for doing so.Remuneration: Highly Competitive Salary with Excellent BonusesHealthcare BenefitsWage to be discussed based on experience, expectations, relevant skills, education etc.An offer will be provided to the chosen candidate.We look forward to hearing from you!Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $19.00-$25.00 per hourAdditional pay:
