Ramida Enterprises Ltd. is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team. Based out of Sooke, we have numerous projects on South Vancouver Island with more work coming. Our fleet of excavators range from 3 ½ to 35 tonnes. The clients we work for include homeowners, developers, general contractors, and all levels of government. Customer satisfaction is our number one goal!You will be operating excavators but may also be asked to operate skid steer loaders or compactors. As an operator you must be able to trench for utilities, fine grade, and load trucks. A lot of our work involves rock, so the ability to build boulder walls is a plus Our operators are responsible for operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently as well as communicating effectively with your team and the public. You will also be responsible to inspect your machine, keep it clean, perform minor maintenance and secure all equipment as required.
