Accommodations are available on request for candidates taking part in all aspects of the selection process.Role SummaryThe role of the Business System Analyst (BSA) is to support the Access Management team by assisting in managing access to various systems. The BSA will also conduct audits and investigate access to those various systems. Additionally, the BSA will help define business requirements for new processes and perform other functions in support of the department as assigned. The BSA must be hands-on in working with end users and is available for some weekend work.Key Responsibilities

  • Ensures that system access is maintained in accordance with company policy
  • Supports all access management control activities across all infrastructure systems
  • Ensures access to systems is provisioned with the concept of least privilege
  • Evaluates existing access to ensure access levels remain commensurate with job responsibilities
  • Responsible for evaluating access management systems to show continued improvements of provision processes and operations
  • Improvement of processes through analysis, reviews and reporting as well as through automation, competence building, knowledge sharing and other organizational changes
  • Business analysis including working with business users and/or subject matter experts to produce requirements such as, gap analysis, cost benefit analysis, business process design, business rules and other analysis work products
  • Creates effective use cases and defines all the key actors, and systems in order to achieve the desired goals
  • Visually creates UML models using industry standards to visually capture the design of various systems
  • To be able to create effective test plans, test cases, and test scenarios using both manual and automated testing methodologies.
Education and Experience
  • 1 – 3 years’ experience working as a Business Analyst
  • Diploma or a degree in Computing or Health Informatics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Preference will be given to candidates with Business Analyst or ITIL 4.0 certification or coursework
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Will be a problem solver who can also, plan, analyze, and resolve business challenges
  • Comfortable with peer and supervisory feedback
  • Ability to possess a desire to learn and adopt new processes for continual improvement and to keep abreast of new technologies
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and ability to operate standard office equipment
  • Knowledge of on-line computer-based programs, services and system
