We’re looking for new team members to work within our landscape maintenance division on mid to high-end residential, strata and commercial properties. Our client base is spread throughout the Victoria area, Sidney and Langford and this position is year-round.Year Round Yard Maintenance is looking to hire landscapers and lawn care professionals with at least 6months experience in the lawn care, maintenance and landscaping industry.We are an established independent company whose passion is creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. You know what it takes to be a professional landscaper.In this role you will be working across Victoria and Neighbouring Cities.Hourly wage will be based on skill level.REQUIREMENTS

• Have a valid and insurable driver’s license
• Pass background/reference check
• Provide a criminal record check and driver’s abstract
• Physically fit and strong
• Reliability and punctuality is essential
• Can work independently and as part of a team

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Experience operating commercial/corporate and residential lawn care equipment (lawn

mowers, weed eaters, power rakes and air aerators)

• Trim hedges shrubs and general landscaping and maintenance tasks
• Soil preparation for plant and flower installation
• Proper tree, shrubs and flower planting, considering depth, placement and spacing
• Prune shrubs and trees and clean-up all debris to maintain a clean job site
• Load/unload and secure equipment onto trucks and trailers
• Clean and maintain proper use of all equipment
• Apply rock and mulch to landscape beds to the appropriate depth
• Fertilize and water new plant material and existing flower installations correctly
• Assist in irrigation and hardscaping installations as required
• Ability to stand, bend and stoop for long hours
• Attention to detail
• Available to work a varied schedule (including Saturdays) in sometimes adverse weather

conditionsPREFERRED

• Exercise quality, customer service abilities
• Possess good organizational skills
• Maintain a high level of quality, safety, cleanliness and efficiency
