As a Marketing Manager, you will develop channel strategies and tactics, conduct experiments, analyze results and manage spend. You’ll come up with strategies to generate brand awareness, launch experiments and measure results. Youll get support from others on the marketing team as well as experts from other teams (PR, Sales, Product, Engineering). Youll communicate findings to senior management and recommend areas for future investment.About the teamThe AbeBooks Marketing team delights readers and collectors by helping them discover one of a kind items from any device, anywhere in the world. The team is made of up of individuals from diverse backgrounds based in Germany and Canada and owns customer acquisition and retention efforts for AbeBooks global domains.Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Excel) and SQL
  • Proficiency in French, German, Italian or Spanish
  • Experience with one or more online marketing channel (e.g., paid search/PPC, organic search/SEO, email, social media, affiliates)
  • Capable of handling multiple projects at once and comfortable dealing with ambiguity
  • Experience working cross functionally with both tech and non-tech teams, such as Public Relations, Product, User Experience, Engineering and Finance teams
