We value your time, your health and your growth!The GigReporting to the Creative Director, as part of our Creative Leadership Team, you’ll be looking after our Marketing Assistant (MA) team and building sustainable tech solutions for our production staff and clients. You’ll support our strategy team by coordinating production tasks for our campaigns. You will have the chance to lead a team of contractors, agencies, and internal staff to fulfill project needs. This is a temporary, 12-month position, starting August 2022.Compensation * $45,000 to $52,000 based on 32 hours per week.Duties and Responsibilities: * Working with the Creative Leadership team and Strategy team to plan, schedule and execute production activities for digital and print fundraising campaigns.

  • Work with the Creative and Strategy team to innovate on product offerings
  • Create sustainable solutions for our fundraising digital assets, including landing pages, email templates and website processes.
  • Directly manage three Marketing Assistants, one full-time developer and contract developers to ensure all marketing campaigns are executed within established timelines.
  • Onboard and train Marketing Assistants and Web Developers in the production process.
  • Support maintaining and monitoring MA departmental budget and spending.
  • Abide by production schedules and priorities.
  • Build campaigns according to strategy as outlined by Strategists.
  • Coordinate the production of campaigns with production team members.
  • Implement the development and distribution of campaign assets for direct mail, emails, campaign pages, digital advertising and social media.
  • Data entry & reporting on all campaign results including direct mail, emails, digital advertising, and social media.
  • Build and schedule emails in MailChimp and Pardot with a keen eye for detail, following copy and assets outlined in project plans.
  • Effectively manage and communicate edits between our clients and the production team.
  • Build and launch website e-newsletters, campaign assets and landing pages through the effective use of WordPress.
  • Manage and execute digital advertising campaigns based on planning from our Ads Specialist.
  • Track ads spends hourly work and communicate with our admin team to ensure spending is within established budgets.
  • Ensure quality and timeliness of email campaigns through review and testing across varying email platforms, multiple devices, virtual machines etc.
  • Assist in the distribution of subscriber newsletters and information.
  • Contribute to internal reports and monitor key metrics.
Must Haves: * 2-3 years Marketing or digital project coordination experience.
  • Experience with Google Suite, WordPress, Mail Chimp or equivalents.
  • Ability to work with sensitive timelines, understanding you have a team to support you.
  • Excellent and timely communication.
  • Must be based in Canada and able to consistently work during Pacific time zone business hours.
Nice to Haves: * Experience with project management tools (Asana, Monday, Airtable etc).
  • Post-secondary education or relevant experience.
  • Experience working for or volunteering with a charity or nonprofit.
  • Experience in the fundraising sector.
  • Coordination of print projects.
  • Understanding of online tools like Slack (http://slack.com/), Google Apps (https://gsuite.google.com/), etc.
  • Understanding of development best practices
  • Experience leading a small team.
