Job Description

Saanich Physiotherapy and Sports Clinic is a busy multi-disciplinary health clinic looking for a full or part time Office Administrator to join our professional and energetic team. Our growing clinic has two locations (Saanichton & Royal Oak) and preference is given to applicants who are able to go between both locations.As an office administrator you are typically the first point of contact for our patients. You are responsible for communication between our patients, the practitioners, and our office manager to ensure everyone is on the same page about client bookings, cancellations, insurance claims, and various paperwork.We offer on-site training of our clinic management software (JaneApp), the portals for direct billing third parties, and all other aspects of required skills.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):- Greeting and welcoming patients in a warm manner- Answering the phone and emails in a professional manner and assisting clients as needed- Scheduling and managing appointments and clinic operations in JaneApp- Keeping patient records up to date and maintaining clinic records (digital and paper)- Direct billing insurance companies through online portals- Taking payments (cash, POS, through JaneApp) and reconciling the days-end- Maintaining clinic and office supplies, occasional laundry- Other administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients.Requirements:- Maintain patient confidentially at all times inside and outside of the clinic- Interest in the field and in overall health & wellness- Competent computer skills- Professional and friendly demeanor- High level of oral and written communication skills in the English language- Comfortable with problem solving and multitasking- Able to ask for help when it is neededAssets:- Two years experience in customer service- Experience working with Jane App- Experience using direct billing portals- Experience using Microsoft SuitesCompensation: $17-$20/hour starting wage based on education and experience.Schedule: Our clinics are typically open 7am-7pm Monday - Friday & 8:30-4 on Saturday. Shifts vary from 4-8 hrs within those time frames. We offer flexible scheduling.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timePart-time hours: 10-40 per weekSalary: $17.00-$21.00 per hourBenefits:
