As a relatively new company, our small team has plenty of opportunities for growth!Job DescriptionWe’re looking for an energetic, hands-on operations manager to oversee our inventory and order fulfilment operations as well as our grocery delivery/transport team. This role will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring high-quality picking standards are maintained, managing our two delivery vehicles and staff to provide timely updates and other operational duties as outlined below.Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hrs/week. (Some weekends as needed; schedule will be flexed to compensate)Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:Inventory & Order Fulfilment Tasks

• Organize, oversee, manage, rotate and re-order inventory
• Manage and order all necessary packing materials
• Lead all picking and packing of orders
• Receive all inbound inventory and update existing systems to capture expiration dates, stock quantities, etc.
• Facilitate all unsold products to existing donation programs

Grocery Delivery/Transport Tasks

• Oversee and manage delivery staff, including hiring as needed (with support from CEO)
• Dispatch drivers daily, ensuring existing internal processes are followed
• Overseeing proper maintenance and cleanliness of BCause’s delivery fleet
• Work with the CEO to find new transport business

Providing driving support as needed (vacation or sick coverage) which includes:

• Driving a 3-ton refrigerated truck (training will be provided, no special license required)
• Complete deliveries to a variety of commercial and residential customers
• Complete necessary paperwork, including bills of lading
• Load and unload vehicles with care to prevent damage to product
• Communicate customer feedback to BCause management
• Ability to send text messages to customers upon completion of delivery and/or work with tracing/communication technologies
• Providing next-level customer service last-mile delivery service to end customers
• Running delivery-related errands, as needed

Additional Tasks

• Develop and/or strengthen operational policies and procedures to increase efficiencies
• Source and onboard new products and vendors
• Work with the CEO to develop new company-wide initiatives and programs to boost sales and marketing efforts
• Engage with the business community and community at large at events, as needed

• Managing a team
• Professional delivery driving experience
• Familiarity with using dispatch software
• Inventory/management experience
• Produce or grocery experience
• Picking and fulfilling orders

The ideal candidate must:

• Have a clean driver’s abstract
• Be able to pass a criminal record check
• Have a vehicle (candidate will be reimbursed for personal vehicle use)

Job Types: Full-time, PermanentSalary: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per yearSchedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
