Job Description

Kumon is the worlds largest after-school learning program. We are currently seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant at our Langford centre. This position is a great opportunity if you are considering a career in teaching or childcare or have previous experience in these fields.Applicants must be available on Monday and Wednesday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.Qualifications

  • Strong math and reading skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Some university education is preferred
  • Mature and detailed oriented
  • Enjoy working with students K-12
  • Team player
Specific Responsibilities
  • grade and record students class work
  • sit at the reception to check students temperature and make sure they have a face mask on
  • familiarize early learners and new students with the centre routine
  • learn the Kumon method and guide students to develop work skills
Job Types: Part-time, PermanentPart-time hours: 12-15 per weekAdditional pay:
  • Bonus pay
Schedule:
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
