If working for a progressive organisation, with a continuing commitment to diversity and inclusion is important, you should apply.Shape your world and achieve togetherThe Payroll Officer is responsible for supporting the end-to-end payroll processing in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring that all employees (approx 2,500) are paid accurately and on time.Key accountabilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the monthly payroll processes and offcycles, including new starters and terminations.
  • Identifying and participating in continuous improvement projects to drive efficiencies within payroll including streamlining processes and improving operations.
  • Safeguarding the organisation by ensuring the right processes, governance and controls are in place.
  • Monitoring the payroll inbox, ensuring employee queries are resolved in a timely manner.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • Payroll experience across Australia and/or New Zealand
  • Solid understanding of Australian and NZ legislative entitlements
  • Strong technical knowledge of SAP
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
