If working for a progressive organisation, with a continuing commitment to diversity and inclusion is important, you should apply.Shape your world and achieve togetherThe primary purpose of this position is to assist the Head of Portfolio in a variety of activities and projects within the Portfolio and Alliances function at Fujitsu.The role holder supports the lifecycle management or enhancements of a product on a global or regional basis jointly with a central counterpart. New products and innovations will be derived from ideas, industry experience and contact with technology partners, customers and prospects and packaged into offerings considering time to market, profitability, cost positioning and quality targets. Communicates and liaises with different areas of the company, for example with marketing to support definition of the global or regional go-to-market strategy.Key Responsibilities:

  • New Technology Analyses. Under guidance of more senior Product Managers, evaluates the viability of new technology product ideas in the context of the organizations strengths and capabilities, production capability, quality, costs, and marketplace demand.
    • Business Planning. Plans tactically for a product within the framework of the product line strategy, and life cycle management. Supports the creation of the business plan. Liaising between local and global teams on programs or work directly and/or indirectly to ensure the team achieve their objectives & to constantly improve quality & interworking.
    • Lifecycle Management. Understands the "go to market" concept for the respective product line and supports with ideas. Prepares life cycle management for a product in the context of the underlying product line strategy. Supports the inventory management and the relevant service functions under guidance of more senior Product Managers.
    • Defining Product Requirements. Defines product requirements (features, time to market, costs, pricing and profit) for a product. Plans a product within the framework of the product line strategy.
    • Documentation. Prepares product descriptions and product data for offering logistics, manufacturing and lifecycle management.
    • Sales and Marketing Support. Prepares product presentations jointly with product marketing for customers and for events. Supports input for advertisement documentation for product presentations on the customers’ side and for events including group meetings for main users. Undertake varied work activities to contribute towards offering development, working with the Portfolio Heads and other relevant stakeholders as directed.

  • Bachelor degree, which may include: Bachelor of IT, Arts, Commerce
  • Experience working in a multi-client organisation and IT best practises 4+ years’ experience
