This means you will manage real estate investments, and the commercial development of real estate assets.You have a minimum of five years in real estate investment or investment brokerage, managing commercial real estate development, and feasibility within a Canadian commercial real estate sector.Ideally, we are looking for someone with:Relationship Management: Managing relationships with the real estate industry, local government, government agencies and the commercial real estate industry.Property Acquisition: Advance knowledge of property selection and acquisition with an eye on Highest and Best Use with focus of a Transit Oriented Development. A strong understanding of property valuation where industry related certification would be an asset (e.g. AACI, RI-REIBC).Theories and Practices: Advance knowledge of principles, theories and practices of Investment management, negotiation, development Pro Forma’s / feasibility and related legal documents with string knowledge of local land use, local and Provincial authority’s process and procedures.Principles and Procedures: Excellent knowledge of the principles and procedures and processes of the Land Title Act, the Expropriation Act and local bylaws when rezoning and developing of real estate.
