Job Description :PROJECT MANAGER, VESSEL REPLACEMENTVictoriaDo you want to be part of the shipbuilding team, working to deliver such vessels as our exciting new hybrid electric Island Class ferries and help build a sustainable future for our island communities As a Project Manager, Vessel Replacement, you are responsible for planning and executing new vessel construction projects and vessel disposal projects, from project concept through ship delivery and handover to Fleet Operations. That includes project scope and design development, cost control, risk management, procurement, construction and maintenance program development.You will also manage project-specific teams to develop and deliver project plans, including negotiating terms and conditions of contracts, managing and administering construction contracts, and managing stakeholder issues throughout the project.Qualifications:

  • A degree in Engineering or Business
  • Professional project management designation (from PMI or equivalent) and/or equivalent academic achievement (e.g., Project Management Degree or Diploma)
  • Five years’ progressive project management experience, preferably within a marine construction or engineering environment
  • Experience managing multi-faceted contracts and project schedules and budgets
