For this, we are happy to offer a 4 to 8-month co-op position to help our Mechanical Engineering Team.Position Qualifications - Pursuing a degree with relevant experience in software development. (Computer Science/ Software Engineering /Computer Engineering among others)- Passion for technology and the web- High degree of attention to detail- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision- Experienced in testing websites and mobile applications on a variety of platforms- Experienced in using JIRA or similar applications would be an asset- Experience with Automation testing tools would be an asset- Nice to have:+ Basic knowledge of Swift programming language and Android Studio+ Basic knowledge of Bluetooth Stack knowledge+ Basic knowledge of API development experience (Databases and endpoint creation)+ Basic knowledge of HTTP request experience and Git version control experience+ Knowledge of the Internet of Things is a plusDuties and Responsibilities- Participate in all phases of the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC)- Create Test Cases based on product requirements and design- Test Execution and management using Test Management tools such as JIRA- Log defects/bugs and work with the development team to re-create them or assist with their resolution- Review & Analyze acceptance criteria for completeness- Perform Regression Testing- Handle workflow automation and performance testing APIs and Web Application User Interfaces- Suggesting changes to improve software and system quality- Functional Web Application Testing- New Feature Mobile Testing (iOS, Android)- Manual Ad Hoc and Exploratory testingOther NotesSince this position is grant-funded, preference will be given to Canadian Citizens or Permanent Residents.Job Types: Full-time, Internship / Co-opContract length: 8 monthsSalary: $2,500.00-$3,000.00 per monthBenefits:
