Job Description

ReceptionistCornerstone Properties Ltd. has been servicing Victoria properties since 1987 and is currently seeking to fill a permanent full-time position for a Receptionist.The key duties are as follows:

  • Provide reception support to all Departments.
  • Be the first point of contact for callers and clients coming into the office.
  • Answer multi-line phone system and direct calls to other staff and/or departments.
  • Respond to telephone, in person, email, and fax requests and provide information/assistance as required.
  • Handle debit, cheque and money order transactions.
  • Process incoming mail and direct to appropriate person, including scanning invoices.
  • Process outgoing daily mail and courier requests.
  • Respond and/or forward email correspondence.
  • Process general mail-outs and other office tasks such as scanning, as required.
  • Order office supplies as required to ensure sufficient stock in place.
  • Fill the photocopier and printer in the main copy room as needed.
  • Keep the reception desk and front client area tidy.
Requirements
  • Must be a team player with good common sense.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Able to perform tasks independently.
  • Remain positive and calm in a very busy environment.
  • Demonstrate strong work ethics.
  • Exude a “can do” attitude in all undertakings and be receptive to change and challenges.
  • Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Business computer experience.
  • Proactive customer service skills.
  • Able to utilize a multi-phone reception desk.
  • Able to multi-task and meet deadlines.
