Hotel Security and valetingLocation is in heart of Vancouver in the downtown core. You will be reporting to hotel late night manager for your shifts and to collect your site phone and check post orders.This site requires a drivers license with a clean recordThis site requires a individual who is physically fitThis site requires Fluent English both written and spokenAnd have a availability of 32 to 40 hours a weekKey Accountabilities1. Provide excellent service to guests, residents, employees and the general public2. Maintain safety and protect the facility and property from any real or perceived threats3. Proactively patrol and monitor the property to prevent fire, theft, and vandalism4. Monitor all access points and provide access as needed5. Assist the public, contractors and others in accessing the facility6. Conduct routine visual inspections of the building (maintenance issues, repairs, etc)7. Respond to all building/hotel emergencies, including guest and facility related emergencies8. Assist with the emergency procedures, including fire alarms, evacuation or lockdown9. Complete Incident Reports and Administrative duties as required10. Perform valet duties11. Perform other related duties as requiredEducation and ExperienceValid BC Security Worker LicenseClean Driver license recordMinimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar role in the Hotel, Residential or customer service industrySkills and AbilitiesMentally and physically able to deal with assigned tasksPhysically able to withstand extensive periods of walking, sitting, and standingAbility to work day, afternoon and overnight shifts as requiredAbility to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a teamExcellent Service attitude, Communication and conflict resolution skillsFluent in English with additional language(s) an assetWe would like to take this opportunity to thank all applicants for their interest.
