Job Description

Elite Security and First Aid is looking for self-motivated, compassionate, and professional individuals with a strong work ethic and passion for our industry to add to our team. We are currently accepting applications to fill full-time and part-time Retail security positions in the Greater Victoria area.Duties and Responsibilities

  • Keep a professional demeanor at all times.
  • Adhere to set guidelines for company uniforms.
  • Provide excellent customer service and assistance to clients and patrons.
  • Use two way radios.
  • Write clear and detailed operational reports.
  • Report incidents and irregularities to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Contact emergency responders when requested or required.
  • Perform foot patrols.
  • Monitor designated areas and maintain a physical presence.
Experience and Skills
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior observational skills.
  • Direct experience in a security related position will be considered an asset.
Applicants who have completed Basic Security Training and hold a current BC SecurityLicense will be given priority. If you are not licensed, we may be able to help you to obtain your BC Security License.Job Types: Full-time, Part-timeSalary: $17.00-$21.00 per hourBenefits:

Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Victoria, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

  • BC Security License (preferred)
