Job Description

Location: Vancouver Island Residents OnlyAbout Flemingamp; Company: Flemingamp; Company, a well-established accounting firm located on the Westshore for the past 35 years, has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant. Join our team and be part of a collaborative and flexible work environment that values a positive work-life balance.Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Accountant who prides themselves on the quality of their work and is looking to make a significant impact for our clients. This position requires strong accounting, taxation, controllership, and problem-solving skills.Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare compilation and review engagements.
  • Handle personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Manage other government remittances and elections.
  • Provide controllership and accounting management services in a corporate environment.
Qualifications: Required:
  • CPA designation.
  • At least 5 years of public practice experience.
  • Experience with Caseware, Profile, MS Office, SAGE50, and QuickBooks.
  • Detail-oriented, accurate, and fluent in English (written and verbal).
Preferred:
  • 3 years of experience in a corporate environment at the controllership/accounting manager level.
