Job Description

ServerSwans Pub is seeking out applicants for a full or part time Server position for our lively downtown Pub. Swans is a fast paced, fun, social environment with a focus on the guest experience and teamwork. Applicants should have a positive attitude, be able to work within a team, communicate effectively, be coachable, and be available to work weekends and holidays.Responsibilities:

  • To provide a high level of guest satisfaction by providing efficient and friendly service
  • To project a pleasant and positive image of our company to all guests
  • Deliver and present food orders to guests in a timely manner
  • To bus and re-set tables
  • Maintain knowledge of all menus including specials
  • To communicate effectively with supervisors and team members using appropriate etiquette
  • To comply with company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is an asset.
  • Sincere desire to exceed guest expectations
  • A passion for the hospitality industry
  • Ability to work well under pressure, high energy and self-motivation required.
  • Ability to work without constant supervision
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enthusiastic and team oriented
  • Personable and professional
  • Serving It Right
  • Should be able to lift 30lbs on a regular basis
  • Flexible availability: including mornings, evenings, weekends and statutory holidays
