Job Description

The Role: As our VP of Client Relations, you will be nurturing our client relations ensuing client satisfaction and quality delivery on the services we provide. You are a critical member of the senior leadership team, working closely with our VP of Public Sector Sales and VP of Private Sector Sales to attract and retain our clients. This role is a hands-on leadership role, with the opportunity to bring on/hire a team in the near future.*The day-to-day: *

  • Participates and contributes as a member of the Senior Leadership team to provide input into and then executing upon the strategic plan
  • Hands-on with all areas of client relations - developing detailed client plans to meet retention and growth objectives for each client relationship including organizing and attending in-person client events
  • Developing the team and establish organization wide processes for account management & customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining and fostering relationships with government agencies and private sector customers across North America with primary focus in British Columbia
  • Accountable for existing customer growth and building relationships across departments - negotiating renewals, expanding our reach, and surfacing new ideas to our customers
  • Support new business development within existing customers
  • Manage existing accounts, account plans, and serving as a point of first contact for AOT’s clients
  • Facilitates meetings and working sessions that leverage the Agile practice management program/ tools and techniques to foster adoption
  • Assists in the development of strategic plans
  • Identify potential opportunities and inform the sales team to follow up
  • Educate and inform clients about the company’s products and services
  • Attend to client complaints and resolve issues promptly
  • Work with internal departments to ensure the company meets clients’ expectations
  • Work closely with AOT technical delivery team and prepare weekly status reports for AOT management and clients on projects where needed
  • Attend and participate in meetups, conferences, and other industry events
What you have:
  • Bachelors degree
  • Previous senior management experience where you were responsible for independently managing clients
  • A background in working within the IT sector
  • Prior proven experience working as a Sr. Account Executive/Manager in a service or product based organization
  • Ability to prioritize tasks to align with deadlines
  • High degree of interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a dynamic environment
