Media One is looking for a video editor to join our fast-paced production team. We're looking for applicants who know there's no 'I' in team, no job too small, and are driven to tell great stories. They're as comfortable working on long-term documentary projects with constantly evolving timelines and narratives as they are working with fast-paced commercial projects with quick turnaround times. They're passionate about finding the thread that weaves together a great timeline and is passionate about using video as a storytelling medium.Responsibilities for Video EditorTake direction and establish the desired feel and look for the video to be createdGather and transfer all forms of media into editing software and ensure each was updated in the correct formatOperate Adobe Creative Suite (Premier and After Effects) and equipment used for video media and effects (Establish a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of the video's creationCreate an initial proposed storyboard draft of the video to present to clients and receive approval before beginning to digitally alter the videoEnsure the correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to the client's specificationsQualifications for Video Editor3+ Years Experience as a Video EditorProfessional mastery of video and audio editing software and programsAbility to multitask and work toward several milestones on various projects simultaneouslyCreative experience in filmmaking and videographyAbility to understand the desired outcome of a project when meeting with clients and the ability to bring them to lifeExperience editing various video projects and inserting sound effects, music and transitionsProficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projectsExcellent communication skills are required to have a solid understanding of project scope and implementationAbility to collaborate well with other creative professionals to supply clients with top-notch finalized productsJJLGMArxMK
