Job Description

We create and deliver innovative industrial solutions to customers in the agricultural, mining, oil and gas, petrochemical, pulp and paper, nuclear, and renewable energy industries.PTW is hiring Electrical Apprentices with maintenance and construction experience to join our team in Wabasca, Alberta. If you are available to start immediately, we want to hear from you!GOOD TO KNOW

  • Camp
  • Shift: 7 days on, 7 days off
  • Pre-access Drug and Alcohol test is required
  • PTW Apprenticeship Tuition Program
A DAY IN THE LIFE…
  • Cable pulling and termination.
  • Cable tray installation.
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping by ensuring work areas are clean and organized.
  • Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine the layout of industrial electrical equipment installations.
  • Ensure all electrical maintenance operations follow applicable regulations and trade practices.
  • Communicate clearly with team members, foremen, and managers.
  • Complete safety paperwork daily.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be a Registered Electrical Apprentice.
  • Maintenance and industrial oil field electrical experience is required.
  • Must be able to take direction.
  • Must be able to work independently or in a team.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A demonstrated ability to work safely.
TICKETS REQUIREMENTS
  • Must have applicable safety tickets (CSTS-20, H2S, WHMIS 2015, ESTS, Standard First Aid)
  • A valid Class 5 driver’s license is required.
