Your Opportunity:In addition to a competitive rate of pay, AHS currently has a Remote Retention Allowance in place to an annual maximum of $3,000. This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.Description:As a Maintenance Worker IV, you will perform a variety of highly skilled and complex maintenance and repair work requiring considerable initiative and judgment in determining the appropriate work methods consistent with standards, regulations and procedures. You will utilize your supervisory and/or maintenance skills and experience to perform preventative maintenance and repair duties on specialized equipment and building control systems, and to provide leadership and direction to other maintenance staff in order to meet operational requirements. In addition, you will perform specialized machine repairs, as well as the maintenance and monitoring of systems and equipment. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is required with at least three years experience in plant operations and maintenance. Basic computer skills in Windows operating environment is a requirement. Ability to work under pressure and effectively troubleshoot and solve operational problems. Demonstrated ability to work well with others as well as independently. Strong commitment to client satisfaction and to promote teamwork and partnerships. On call coverage will require employee to be available within acceptable response time to facility issues (20 minutes).Preferred Qualifications:HVAC specific training and/or experience with ability to operate and troubleshoot systems (ventilation, hydronics, boilers, refrigeration, etc.). Experience with computerized building control systems. Ability to read and interpret building drawings and schematics (e.g. architectural, mechanical, electrical, controls, structural, civil, etc.). Experience in operations and maintenance in a health care related facility is desired.
