PTS is a dynamic industry requiring a a high level of integrity and flexibility on your part.If you live in the southern Georgian Bay area including Barrie we would like to hear from you.Job descriptionPrimary ResponsibilitiesPatient transfer attendants are responsible for the safe transport of patients via stretcher/wheelchair to/from a healthcare facility, nursing home, or private residence, while providing outstanding customer service.RequirementsMust be able to read and communicate in English effectively.High School Diploma or proof of Post Secondary Education.MUST HAVEValid CPR and First Aid (Level C)ability to obtain emergency first responder upgrade immediately which will be reimbursed by company for select candidatesMust be able to work flexible hours including holidays and outside regular hours of operation, up to 13 hours in a shift.Valid G class driving license.Ability to lift 250+ lbs. using a stretcher or stair chair with partner.Posses clean driving record and provide a copy for personal file.Must provide a copy of a Police Vulnerable Sector check.Current immunization recordsPlease forward resume and cover letter to include a list current valid documents as above.In addition a patient first attitude is foremost, The ability to think on your feet, communicate with hospital staff professionally and maintain patient privacy makes you an ideal candidate.Candidates must be willing to travel to Wasaga Beach to start their day.Please note only selected candidates will be contacted for an initial phone interview.Job Types: Part-time/ Casual/Call inThis position may lead to full time.Salary: $17.00 per hr.Application question(s):
