It’s a pivotal role, spending most of its time operating in the background, ensuring that every accommodation unit is immaculate, for every guest’s arrival and check-in. As a Housekeeper, you’ll almost never be thanked directly by a guest for your incredible work. In fact, as is the nature of our world, you’re more likely to hear about the objections. But you can always count on the fact that you’ll be endlessly appreciated by your teammates, and you can rest assured that as a member of the Housekeeping Horde, you’re the foundation of Elk Ridge’s operational team. Don’t tell anyone I said this, but this is actually the most important department.Ideal Housekeeping contenders are interested in consistently making a positive impact on guest experiences at the resort, every day, all day. The Housekeeping Horde starts and ends every shift with a positive, let’s crush it attitude. As a part of this team, you’ll be working in a fully collaborative and strategic unit that moves as one. Your teammates are everything in housekeeping. And because of the pivotal nature of Housekeeping, it’s critical that every member of this team is reliable, maintains a positive attitude, manages their day-to-day stresses in a professional manner, is highly collaborative, enjoys working in a team environment, is very well organized, and can take direction but can also self-direct.If you want a desk job, something that’s physically easy, or you’re the lone wolf type, don’t apply to be a Housekeeper. But if you want a job that operates within a cohesive team, is an essential facet of our operation, is physically mobile throughout the day, and will add a litany of valuable skills to your resume, then you definitely want to join our team as a Housekeeper. The organizational, attention to detail, time management, teamwork, and strategy development skills you’d take from this role will be incredibly useful to your career, whether it’s with us, or somewhere else.
