Resort Manager -Kapasiwin Bungalows - 4 Season Boutique ResortWhat will be your daily pursuitLeading a culture of consistently improving guest service, employeeengagement, and financial results at Kapasiwin Bungalows, Waskesiu, SKWhat perks can you expectWork in Waskesiu, Prince Albert National Park, SKKapasiwin Bungalows, has 13 brand new rustic contemporary cabins available for all four seasons. 13 cabins are designated as short rental cabins and 22 designated as longer term rental cabins, all situated in one of the Canadas most beautiful and iconic National Parks.What will you do in this jobThe Resort Manager will elevate Kapasiwin Bungalows to realize its full potential as the finest 4 Season Boutique Resort in Northern Saskatchewan. Embracing Kapasiwins exclusive location, the Resort Manager will drive unsurpassed guest experience.- Create and steer a culture of passion for guest experienceand attention to detail that drives guest sentiment scores- Collaborate with ownership in the development of a strong resortstrategic plan- Demonstrate strong vision and execution in all elements of theresort as outlined by the strategic plan: from the day-to-day minutiato larger projects- Empower seasonal staff to drive the strategic vision with your oversight- Act as a guide, mentor and role model for all members of the teamto ensure the processes, procedures and standards are consistentlydelivered- Pilot Front Office operations whilst maintaining all aspectsof the Resort operations- Identifies broadly impacting challenges, resolving and escalating as required- Conduct daily inspections across the whole site for cleanlinessand maintenance and ensuring the preventative maintenance schedule isadhered to diligently- Actively pushing the financial outlook for the resort ensuringbudgeted targets are met or exceeded- Nimbly reacting to challenges to business volumes that threatenbudgeted targets- Effective sales and marketing of Resort.- Proactively manage budget and resources to meet business plan keyperformance indicators for guest experiences, margin and financial improvements- Act as an ambassador for the Resort with our key businesspartners, developing new partnerships and fostering relationships forbest business outcomes and community relations- Developing, implementing and maintaining superior standard operatingprocedures (e.g. safety, customer service, emergency procedures)-Lead communication during an incident and ensure emergency andfirst-aid response and documentation to accidents & incidents, both onand off property- Upholds strong valuesWhat skills and experience do you need for this job: - 3-5 years’ experience participating strategically and operationally at a Management level- Post-Secondary diploma/degree in Hospitality Management or related discipline an asset- Previous Management experience in resort settings- A leader in your field, your experience would preferably include a strong background in delivering exceptional customer service.- Highly motivated to drive positive change- An innovative thinker who provides solutions to ensure support of guest and seasonal employee needs- Proven team-builder with outstanding motivational skills and coaching ability- High degree of attention to detail and professionalism- Demonstrated commitment to finding new and better ways of working by applying learning, feedback and experience- Results oriented with the ability to be flexible- Energetic, enthusiastic and self-motivated and prepared to exceed ownership and guest expectations.What will your work environment be like: You’ll work in an iconic, unforgettable and inspiring National Park where residency is a true privilege.
