Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to clearly communicate detail with business partners.What you will do:In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day administrative areas for the Contracts and ProCare contracts functions and requires close interaction with the Customers, Legal, Sales, Marketing, Management, and Senior Leadership teams.This is a great opportunity for someone with an acute sense of urgency, attention to detail, strong organization, and analytical skills with a customer service orientation. This role provides a unique opportunity to work cross-divisionally and build relationships with both internal and external customers.This individual must be a positive contributing member of the Proposals and Contract team while championing Stryker’s Mission and Values.Contract & ProCare support:

  • Provide contract administration support consisting primarily of acquiring appropriate approvals, signatures, scanning and mailing
  • Create and update the Contract management system with key contract details.
  • Support ProCare contract ERP data entry.
  • Assist in review and action open contracts awaiting signature or in negotiation and minimize the number of open contracts at any point in time (and maximize revenue and invoicing)
  • Other contract administrative support as required by the contract team
Individual Responsibilities:

Functional Responsibilities:
  • Provide coverage support to Contracts department shared email inboxes by utilizing resourcefulness and critical thinking skills to research and resolve inquiries and employ excellent time management and organizational skills to follow up with customers on all outstanding issues within expected timelines.
Other:
  • Engages in continuous improvement reviews, and provides recommendations, solutions, supports ideas and initiatives
  • Participate in development, creation, improvement and execution of standard procedures in the Proposals and Contracts department
  • Develop product working knowledge
  • Build strong partnerships with all stakeholders including customers, sales representatives, commercial leaders and marketing
  • Maintains a good understanding of procurement at the hospital, regional, provincial, and national buying group levels to ensure alignment with customer and government imposed terms & conditions
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Manager

What you need:
  • Post-Secondary education required; University Degree preferred.
  • One year administrative experience preferred.
  • Bilingual (French & English) is an asset.
  • Working knowledge of contract terminology, practices, and concepts, or demonstrated ability to acquire working knowledge of similarly complex areas of knowledge quickly.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, with specific focus on Excel and Word formatting and functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply strong organizational and time management skills in the context of a complex, high -volume workload.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities
  • Utilizes technology-based tools and processes and demonstrates ability to learn and employ new technology applications
  • Strong service ethic and desire to succeed in a customer service-oriented environment
  • Proactive, self-motivating, and results- oriented.
  • Proven analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to adjust schedule for month end or other purposes.
