WDS is expanding! Work for an award-winning driving school, teaching in-car lessons to local high school and adult students on the quiet and safe streets of Waterdown.We have an immediate opening for a qualified and experienced in-car driving instructor to teach our students in the Waterdown and Burlington area. This position is contract (20-30 hours per week plus private lessons and road tests, each paid separately) with the opportunity to increase hours as the business expands.You will have full flexibility to manage your own schedule (most lessons are completed afternoons, evenings, and weekends) and you will work one-on-one with students to book lessons.If you have your in-class teaching certificate, even better! We generally run 2 to 3 new courses each month and are looking for additional support in teaching classes.To be considered for this opportunity, you're required to have:MTO-Approved Certificate For In-Vehicle Instruction and clean drivers abstract.Experience with a quality driving school in Ontario.Exceptional customer service, communication, and patience.Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and great organizational skills.Fluent English (additional languages would be an asset).Your own safety-certified instruction vehicle (5 years or newer) with the dual-braking system or willingness to install the dual-braking system.The ability to obtain a clean Police Records Check if requested as a condition of employment.In exchange, we offer:A very competitive lesson rate - up to $26 per hour depending on experience and skills.Full flexibility - you set your own schedule!Family-owned business environment and direct access to the company owner at all times.To apply:Please email your resume and references.
