Job Description

  • To support all areas of operation in bagel making as per the direction of the
Bakery Manager and/or the Assistant Bakery Manager;
  • To prepare and bake quality bagel products as per Fortinos procedures and standards;
  • To assist in the ordering of department supplies and control the inventory level
of product;
  • To assist in the merchandising of bagels, as well as sampling;
  • To assist in the training of new part-time staff;
  • To assist customers with any questions and maintain good customer relations;
  • To ensure the sanitation and safety of the department meets with company standards;
  • To perform other duties, as required.
The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:
  • Prior experience working the Fortino’s bagel operation is essential;
  • Flexibility to work a variety of hours including days, evenings, and weekends;
  • Individual to be self-motivated and possess strong customer service abilities;
  • Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
