Job Description

Our growing company is searching for top talent to join our team in the role of HACCP Coordinator, reporting to the QA Manager, located in the community of Hartland, NB.Your days will include:

• Review current written programs and assess gaps to satisfy SQF requirements
• Execute HACCP/SQF programs and HACCP/SQF-related SOPs according to changes in CFIA regulations, or new production processes
• Train new employees on HACCP/SQF procedures and company policies in Food Plant Hygiene
• Performs HACCP/SQF verifications
• Responsible for updating and reviewing HACCP/SQF records, taking action on records showing deficiencies or recurring issues
• Continuous evaluation of the effectiveness of current HACCP/SQF programs to include continuous improvement
• Collaborate with the CFIA inspectors, Operations, SQF Manager, and QA Manager when resolving food safety issues
• Work as a team player to complete the assigned tasks of the SQF Department

To succeed in this role, you possess:

• Related experience in HACCP, SQF, and the food processing industry
• Prior knowledge of HACCP, SQF, Six Sigma, and GMPs would be considered an asset
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Proficient in Excel and MS Office as well as an ability to adapt to other software applications
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
• Strong focus on food safety and workplace safety
