Job Description

Yukon Parks welcomes more than 85,000 visitors a year to our system of campgrounds and recreation sites. Together, our team strives to ensure that all visitors enjoy their stay and depart with great memories. Park Attendants play a vital role in our program by ensuring that our facilities and grounds are clean, safe and always ready to be enjoyed.This is a seasonal position, typically working from April to October. Our ideal candidate is committed to maintaining the highest standards in safety, client satisfaction, productivity, and quality of work. This is a physically demanding outdoor-based position that works in all weather conditions.   • Experience performing general grounds maintenance
  • Experience performing minor maintenance and repairs to buildings/facilities
  • Experience providing client service to the public
  • Experience operating chainsaws and brush saws will be considered an asset
  • Experience working independently in remote areas will be considered an asset

Additional Information:The incumbents of these positions are expected to work weekends and report from their headquarters area.
